Experience

• Joined Tata Steel as Management Trainee Technical in 2011.
• In 2012, post 1 year training at SNTI was placed in Cold Rolling Mill in Operations role.
• Worked in Cold Rolling Mill for about 9 years in various roles & various areas such as Pickling Line & Tandem Cold Mill (PLTCM) and Continuous Galvanizing Lines (CGLs). The key role during the period included ensuring Safety & Quality and optimizing Asset Utilization & Costs. During the tenure, drove several Green Belt Projects, SIPs & Digital projects to drive improvement at Shopfloor. During the period, was also a part of PLTCM Upgrades.
• During 2016 (1 year), was nominated as Shikhar Champion for Mills driving implementation of Shikhar 25 program across TSL Mills. Developed skills in driving “Transformation Programmes” with special focus on “Cost Reduction” & “Asset Utilization”.
• In 2021 moved into the Role of Head, Business Process Enhancement (BPE) for Steel Manufacturing & Supply Chain. Had been a part of TBEM & DATOM Assessments during this period.
• Certified as a DATOM Assessor in 2022.

In 2023 moved to Combi Mill as Head Operations & Maintenance. This is an upcoming project aiming to cater the Speciality Steel Segment with a product basket comprising of SBQs and Wire rod.
